Growth, repetition, pattern, form, and change as natural phenomena compels my art. In this body of work I focused on the phenomenon of communication, how it serves us, and how we foster it. I used a variety of materials to create biomorphic forms that allude to body parts, food, and various objects that function as tools within interpersonal communication. I aim to scrutinize the increasing complexity of communication; specifically how it simultaneously conforms and informs the intersecting communities we choose to organize ourselves in. I believe that practicing the art of communication is key in unlocking the inner workings of how to function together, wiser, stronger, and kinder.
