My work and life are inspired by environmental issues, social justice, and our diminishing natural resources. I am constantly moved by people who fight for equality for all of life. Through my Buddhist practice I am taught that the inner-connectedness to everything is the truth; with cause and effect being the law of the Universe. Materials that are discarded, "over-used", or understated, are important and have a narrative in themselves. When materials are given a new purpose, without going to the land fill, one is leaving a legacy of respect for our Mother Earth for generations to come. Making meaning and thoughtful objects has been the primary focus of my work. Our every effort in every moment in this life on earth has innumerable effects on everything everywhere.
